We are about 20 metres from the river itself and in years gone by, tea and spice clippers would dock here with their exotic cargoes of speciality teas and spices from all over the world.
Shad Thames is on the Thames River Walk and a great place to visit. As well as Tower Bridge and the Tower of London there are loads of nearby attractions – the Tate Modern Museum, the Design Museum, Borough Market and London Dungeon to name a few.
