Just a stone’s throw from London’s famous Tower Bridge in an historic area called Butler’s Wharf. In past years, these warehouses were used to store teas and spices from all over the world.Now Shad Thames is the home of the original teapod where you can mix tradition with a lively tea experience.

Everyone is welcome at our new store at the Fashion and Textile Museum at 83, Bermondsey Street, SE1 3XF – about a ten minute walk from Shad Thames and near London Bridge station.
Founded by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, the museum houses permanent and changing exhibitions exploring fashion, textile and jewellery.
Our cakes and chocolate brownies are famous across London and lovingly hand-made by our brilliant baker Nick. We have free WiFi, music and newspapers. And to cap it all we offer the best-value Devon Cream Tea or full Afternoon Tea in London.
Opening times: At Tower Bridge we are open weekdays 8am to 6pm and weekends 10am to 7pm. At FTM we are open 8am to 5.30pm weekdays and 10am to 5.30pm at weekends. See you soon!
