Earl Grey

It is to the 2nd Earl Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830‘s that we owe thanks for this classic black tea. Earl Grey is one of the most famous tea blends – Sri Lankan Uva black tea flavoured with natural Bergamot, the oil from a vibrant citrus tree. The good Earl apparently fell in love with it after receiving a gift from a Chinese diplomat. Our Earl Grey adds an extra citrus twist from Lemon peel and a touch of colour from beautiful cornflowers.

Serving tips:
Take four minutes of time to achieve perfection. Use one teaspoon per person and add freshly drawn boiling water. Enjoy with milk or black with a slice of lemon.

Style: mid-strength black tea flavoured with bergamot
Enjoy it: with smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, spiced lemon cake

Fruity Hibiscus

A bright, tangy and fruity blend with plenty of character, this wonderful herbal tea contains hibiscus flowers, lemon verbena, rosehip, apple peel, orange peel, rose petals and natural red berry flavouring. Hibiscus flowers are known for their lovely, vibrant red colour and tangy flavour. As well as providing a spring to your step, our special blend contains no caffeine and is complemented by other zesty ingredients to produce a herbal tea which tastes as good as it smells!

Take five minutes of time to achieve perfection. Use a good teaspoon of hibiscus leaves per person and add freshly drawn boiling water. Drink without milk.

Jasmine Dragon Pearls

The ultimate tea experience – these wonderful hand-rolled pearls of China Fujian green tea produce a moment rich in sensuality. For five nights in succession, the finest green tea buds are laid amongst fresh jasmine flowers so that they can absorb the scent and aroma of the petals. The leaves are then separated and hand-rolled to form tight “pearls” which unfurl in the pot. Observe in amazement and wonder!

Serving tips:
Take three minutes of time to achieve perfection. Use around 6 pearls per person and add freshly drawn water which is just off the boil – around 80 degrees centigrade. Can be re-infused a number of times. Enjoy without milk
