China green tea

It is also known as “precious eyebrows” because each leaf is hand rolled into a tiny needle-like shape with a curve in it – like the eyebrow drawn on the face of a porcelain doll. One of China’s most popular green teas, it is high in healthy anti-oxidants and has a light yellow colour and a lingering sweet fragrance. Brewed at the correct temperature, Chun Mee will never taste bitter.

Oolong teas are semi oxidised and lie half-way between green and blacks teas. They are lower in caffeine and high in polyphenols which are believed to promote beauty, health and aid weight loss by helping to increase metabolism.
Legend has it that the Goddess of Mercy Guan Yin appeared to a farmer who tended her statue at the temple and made him a gift of a single tea shoot. He cultivated it into a tea bush which is the ancestor of all Ti Guan Yin produced today.Serving tips:
